Matthew Barzun is a former United States Ambassador, first to Sweden (2009-2011) and later to the United Kingdom (2013-2017). Previously he held various executive leadership roles at CNET Networks, where he was the fourth employee, and served as National Finance Chair for former President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. Matthew is a graduate of Harvard University, serves on the board of Gannett, and is an active member of his local Louisville, Kentucky community where he has served on various non-profit boards like Louisville Public Media, The Free Public Library Foundation and Teach Kentucky.
