Andrea Shiah is currently the Head of Talent Strategy and Transformation for Eightfold, an AI company focused on matching people to their right jobs based on deep insights about their skills and experience.

Prior to joining Eightfold, Andrea had a 25-year career at American Express, taking on a broad range of roles including: launching new industries, managing top merchant accounts, product manager for small business credit card portfolio, product manager for Consumer Platinum and Centurion Card, head of Global Payroll and most recent role as head of Global Talent Acquisition. The common theme in all her various roles, is her focus on transformation and delivering significant improvements to products, processes and performance.

Andrea lives in New York City with her husband and twin daughters who just graduated from Middlebury College and University of Michigan, and are starting their busy careers in investment banking and medicine. In her spare time, Andrea likes to do anything with her family, she is active and enjoys swimming, running, biking and any sports activity, and has even swum in a race across the East River under the Brooklyn Bridge – and lived to tell about it!
